iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro Launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 144Hz Display, 120W Charging: Price, Specifications, and Features

 

iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro, the latest flagships from the brand, have been unveiled in China. These smartphones come as successors to the iQOO 11 series and are powered by the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, they maintain a partnership with BMW Motorsport and sport an eye-catching design. The iQOO 12 is confirmed to make its way to India next month.

 

Pricing and Availability: The iQOO 12 comes in three configurations:

12GB RAM + 256GB storage: Priced at RMB 3,999 (approximately Rs 45,800)

16GB RAM + 512GB storage: Priced at RMB 4,299 (approximately Rs 49,900)

16GB RAM + 1TB storage: Priced at RMB 4,699 (approximately Rs 53,700)

 

The iQOO 12 Pro also offers three configurations:

16GB RAM + 256GB storage: Priced at RMB 4,999 (approximately Rs 57,150)

16GB RAM + 512GB storage: Priced at RMB 5,499 (approximately Rs 62,900)

16GB RAM + 1TB storage: Priced at RMB 5,999 (approximately Rs 68,600)

 

Both phones are available in Black, White, and Red color options. The iQOO 12 is set to launch in India on December 12th as India’s first phone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

 

Specifications:

Display: The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro feature identical 6.78-inch OLED displays with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Processor: These smartphones are powered by the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by an Adreno GPU. They also include a dedicated Q1 chip.

Operating System: The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro run on Android 14 with the OriginOS 4.0 custom skin.

RAM/Storage: These devices are equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

 

Camera Specifications: iQOO 12 Cameras:

The iQOO 12 boasts a 50MP 1/1.3-inch primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom and 100x digital zoom. iQOO 12 Pro Cameras: The Pro version features a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary snapper with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom and 100x digital zoom. Front Camera: Both phones come with a 16MP front camera for selfies and video chats.

 

Battery:

The iQOO 12 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.

The iQOO 12 Pro houses a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery and offers 120W wired fast charging 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.

 

Additional Features:

Other notable features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, the Q1 chipset for enhanced frame rates and gaming experience, IP68 rating (iQOO 12 Pro only), stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, aptX, and aptX HD.
