Panasonic Launches AI-Powered Smart Home Experience Centre in India, Integrating Miraie for Future-Ready Living

Panasonic Life Solutions India has opened its first Smart Home Experience Centre in Delhi, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent, connected living. Powered by the company’s proprietary Miraie platform, the centre brings together cutting-edge Japanese technology tailored for Indian homes.

A Futuristic Vision for Connected Living

As the demand for smart living solutions grows rapidly across urban India, Panasonic has taken a strategic step by launching an interactive Smart Home Experience Centre. The facility serves as a real-life demonstration of how AI, IoT, and sustainable innovations can transform the modern home into a wellness-focused, secure, and highly convenient space.

Located in the national capital, the centre showcases Panasonic’s extensive smart home portfolio—blending intelligent hardware with user-friendly design. At its core lies Miraie, Panasonic’s IoT-enabled mobile platform that seamlessly connects various appliances and systems under a single unified interface.

Miraie: The Intelligent Brain Behind It All

Launched in 2020, Miraie (which means “future home” in Japanese) allows users to control and monitor appliances like air conditioners, washing machines, lights, fans, curtains, and more directly from their smartphones. The platform’s compatibility with the Matter protocol further enables integration with third-party smart home devices, enhancing interoperability and user flexibility.

The platform also supports features such as:

AI-based lighting scenarios customized by time, mood, or activity

NanoeX technology for cleaner, healthier indoor air

Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) to manage ventilation and indoor air quality

Real-time security monitoring through integrated video door phones and PTZ surveillance systems

Experience Home Wellness, Safety, and Convenience

Commenting on the initiative, Manish Sharma, Chairman and EGSO of Panasonic Life Solutions India, highlighted the transformative potential of smart homes.

“India’s growing middle class and urbanisation are creating strong demand for intelligent living solutions. With the Miraie platform and this new Experience Centre, we are democratising smart home technology and making it accessible to Indian households,” Sharma noted.

Tadashi Chiba, MD & CEO of Panasonic Life Solutions India, emphasized the brand’s focus on well-being.

“This space is a reflection of our vision to deliver holistic smart living. Our Japanese innovations are geared towards sustainability, comfort, and security,” he said.

Complete Smart Ecosystem On Display

Beyond appliances, the Experience Centre integrates smart wiring devices, stylish lighting solutions, premium flooring, and bathroom and kitchen automation—bringing Panasonic’s complete home ecosystem into one space. The centre’s layout mirrors real-world residential and commercial scenarios, allowing visitors to visualize and interact with the technology in practical settings.

Yoshiyuki Kato, MD of Panasonic Electric Works India, remarked:

“Panasonic holds a top-three market share in both lighting and wiring device segments in India. This centre illustrates our leadership in smart and sustainable design for Indian homes.”

Innovation and Collaboration at the Core

Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic India, sees this initiative as a step toward the future of home automation.

“With AI and IoT converging, homes are becoming more intelligent, intuitive, and secure. The Smart Home Experience Centre is where that vision comes to life.”

Access and Availability

Currently, the Smart Home Experience Centre is accessible to enterprise clients, real estate developers, and architects by appointment. It provides a hands-on demonstration of how Panasonic’s smart living solutions can be incorporated into residential and commercial spaces from the design stage itself.
